I am aware that the service hosting the forum has announced it is in financial difficulties. Certainly, over the last year, it has been becoming increasing unreliable. Today, for example, I discovered that unless registered and logged in you see nothing of the top level of the forum.
I am actively seeking an alternative, but as with our original YahooGroup it is possible we will lose all the material currently held in it.
While much of the material on the forum is ephemeral and it will not matter too much if it is lost, please do alert me to any information of more permanent value that is only available on the forum and I will do my best to move it to the main body of the site.
