Pedro Boom and Rudder

I have received the following question:
I am currently looking to buy a Pedro 17 sailboat. The boat I am looking at is missing its boom and rudder, does anyone know how or where I might find these and if the seahawks specs are compatible with the pedro 17?
There is no business that supplies second hand SeaHawk or Pedro parts.

The image from Bristow's book of sailing cruisers 1975 found on the site suggests that the rudder on the Pedro is identical to that supplied with the SeaHawk. I will endeavour to measure my rudder and add details to the Description section of the site over the next week or so. Providing you can find a supplier of mahogany, or a similar wood, it should be easy to fabricate one.

I have no knowledge of the Pedro rig beyond knowing the mast is significantly shorter. I suspect that the boom is a similar length. I suspect that almost any boom from a small dinghy could be made to fit, if the appropriate gooseneck assembly could be found or one adapted.

Can anyone else provide further information?
