Seahawk TEKA sail no 269
I purchased this boat in August 2011 in Cowes Isle of Wight. She had been left on a mooring for several years and was in poor condition with lichen stains on the cabin/cockpit , seaweed growing at the waterline and the drop keel was jammed . Teka was slipped ashore and work began. The keel was eventually removed by force and jet washing through the keel box and is now back in place . Work is going on to wet and dry the hull to below the waterline as the previous owner antifouled to the chine. The boat had EMSWORTH below TEKA and has Tan sails . Are there any more Seahawks in the Solent area.
