I am 42 years old and have sailed all my life, with my parents, on my own and now with my son. The boats I have sailed are incredibly varied and go from as small as a topper to a 72ft Ketch. In the past 20 years I have and still sail my fathers boat which we built "Swansong" at brancaster staithe and various boats my son buys, does some work on, sails for a while then sells for someone else to enjoy such as a 17ft seahawk from brancaster he has recently sold after working on. He has just been asked to take on another 17ft seahawk which needs work done so hopefully soon we will be sailing about in that, fingers crossed this year. He has a mooring at Morston harbour which is a free harbour without a harbour master which he allows another seahawk user to use for the price of the upkeep to the mooring only as we usually use our family moorings at Brancaster Staithe. Our families lives revolve constantly around boats, repairs, sailing and occasionally passing on boats for others to enjoy.
