Bobby Koeleman -primus

Hi all,

A happy and healthy 2021 to everybody!

I'd like to introduce myself, Bobby, and our boat Primus.



We have bought her back in 2008 and originally sailed her from Amsterdam on the Markermeer, and motored through the famous canals.



Then we got two children, so unfortunately, I lacked some time to keep her in good shape. Now, we moved to Haarlem and started sailing again on a little lake just north of the city: 'De mooie Nel'. We are lucky to have found a mooring just 10 minutes cycling from our home.



I hope to post some more about my modest attempts to maintain and update her.
You may already notice she sits much higher in the water, after we ditched the gasoline outboard and replaced it for an electric outboard engine, plus some more unnecessary ballast. I also bought some new sails, which improved her sailing greatly.
