HOME FOUND - SeaHawk Project - Free to good home - Bury st Edmunds, Suffolk

dba11
This post was updated on .
Due to a change in circumstances, our SeaHawk is available for anyone looking for a project.
We have never had the boat in the water, but the previous owner said it was seaworthy.
The outside needs painting and antifouling.
On one side it has obviously had a repair to the fibreglass which needs sanding down before painting.
The wooden hatch and locker doors need replacing.

Inside would need a complete overhaul.

It did come with sails, although I am not sure whether I still have them, but it does have a mast.

The boat is located in Bury st Edmunds.
You would need a trailer to collect as it does NOT come with a trailer.

If anyone is interested, please get in touch.

I have just looked inside the boat, and the sails are in there.
Actually the inside isn’t as bad as I thought (hadn’t looked for about 4 years), I will take some photos inside and post on here.

Stewart,
I have spoken to the wife, and she hasn’t promised the boat to anybody, so she is yours, or your sons 😀.
Give me a call anytime to discuss collection.

A big thank you to Daren for the help yesterday loading the 'Tramp' which turned out to be shall we say a challenge.
Unloading this end was not much easier Daren as the trailer floor decided to completely give up the ghost  .

Exhausted by the end of the day, but a big thank you to Daren for the gift of the 'Tramp' and after a quick check over looks to me that all she needs is a pressure wash and a bit of TLC and she will be ready for sea trials ....
Just need to source or manufacture a trailer
