Tony Rundle
Hi Folks - I've just become the proud owner of a Pedro 17, my first boat. I'm a novice with no experience of sailing. At the moment, it's on the Grand Union Canal, and I'm using an outboard to potter up and down the canal. It makes a nice little cruiser, although you have to stand up to see over the cabin in order to steer. I'm interested in making contact with anyone else who owns one. My current thinking is to take some RYA courses before I run up the sails and take it onto "proper" water some time next year - I'd prefer to know what I'm doing first! I'm based in Northampton.

Hi Tony,

Welcome to the forum. You may be the first with a Pedro on the canals, but at least one SeaHawk as gone before you.
